Regulated Entertainment,
subject to specified conditions and exemptions, includes:
Provision of
regulated entertainment
- a performance of a play
- an exhibition of a film.
- an indoor sporting event.
- a boxing or wrestling entertainment.
- a performance of live music.
- any playing of recorded music.
Provision of
entertainment facilities:
Note: The "two in the bar" rule
permitted by the Licensing Act 1964 no longer applies. Any musical event (other
than Morris Dancing) is a licensable activity under the 2003 Act.
In order to add or extend
the provision of Regulated Entertainment or Entertainment Facilities to a
Premises Licence an application to Vary that licence is necessary.
